A Mural for Orchards Children's Services

The Epicenter had the wonderful privilege of deepening our creative partnership with Orchards Children's Services, this time in the creation of a mural for their family visitation area. Orchards is the largest provider of services to foster children in the state of Michigan and we love every chance we get to work with them. The family visitation area is a space where families come together to reconnect, rebuild, and create meaningful moments together. Given the nature of the space, we wanted a design that would be trauma informed, lighthearted, fun, and ultimately meaningful. We chose a dancing rainbow because we feel it is nature's way of expressing the endlessly playful, fantastically whimsical, abundantly beautiful, and forever free feeling that comes with expressing your authentic self.
