A Life of Creativity
Our 10-12 grade sessions will offer both a respite from and clarity toward the mounting pressures put on high school students regarding college, what to do with their life, and growing up. Most classes on this topic fail to take into account that we are creative beings or acknowledge that it is our creativity that allows us to shine and build a life we are proud of. We will intentionally combine art, lived experience, reflection, discussion, and nature to empower students before moving into the next chapter of their life.
Available art mediums for expression will include movement, storytelling, writing, painting, sculpture, drawing, music, photography, light, and immersion in nature. Each day will feature free time where students can work on honing their craft in an area they are passionate about.
By the end of the week, students will have experienced a new sense of calmness about their future and an increase in confidence. They will not only experience their own inner power, they will also experience their collective power as a group.
