Overview
Throughout the week, students will be immersed in as many aspects of the creative process as possible. Although each session focuses on a different theme, all classes incorporate mindfulness practices, movement, reflection, storytelling, play, writing, painting, sculpture, drawing, music, and immersion in nature to encourage exploration and self-expression. Students have agency over what they create and are encouraged to use their imagination to go beyond what they think is possible.
By the end of the week, students will have become powerful, mindful creators, able to use multiple languages to express themselves. They will not only experience their own inner power, they'll also experience their collective power as a group.
Session themes are:
Session 1: Creativity. We will explore what it means to be creative.
Session 2: Intuition. We will explore what it means to follow our intuition and how this impacts what we create.
Session 3: Jumping In. We will explore what it means to be 'all in' through the perspectives of passion, excitement, fearlessness, and flow.
Session 4: Infinite Possibilities / Makerspace. We will explore the infinite possibilities that exist in everything we do. Through reflection and artistic expression, we will uncover how to choose among all the possibilities to create in a way that aligns with us.
